Electric Scooter Rental: Mobot launch Rent-A-Scoot at Vivocity, Giant

(Singapore) 10-Apr-17: Fancy exploring Sentosa in a whole new way? You can now do it through Mobot Rent-A-Scoot, electric scooter rental program. Instead of taking the regular admission route into Sentosa, you can now rent an electric scooter at Vivocity Giant; use the scooter to travel through the iconic Sentosa bridge and make use of the flexibility of travel that having an electric scooter entails to access more places of interest at Sentosa island.

To Rent-A-Scoot, users just have to bring their identification card/passport down to Giant, Vivocity, level one and approach the Mobot retail booth, and ask for electric scooter rental. The promoters on duty will be on-hand to help in the registration process. During the rental process, users will be able to familiarize themselves with basic electric scooter operation, as well as its folding and unfolding procedure. Users can choose electric scooter rental on a per hour basis, half-day, full-day, or overnight.

Throughout the years, Sentosa has been developing its very own cycling trail. The Sentosa cycling network now spans up to 12km along the island. For those looking to have a relaxing time on the trail, they can now choose to Rent-A-Scoot, electric scooter rental and embark on their journey.

The cycling trail starts at Sentosa Boardwalk and provides a smooth transition from the mainland to the island. Users will be able to explore every nook and cranny that they never knew existed in Sentosa through the three inter-connected cycling tracks linked to the walking trails. They will be able to “e-scoot” to various lookout points that are not readily accessible through the sky train or feeder bus services and have their very own adventure to remember with their family, friends, or significant other.

The operating hours for Mobot’s Rent-A-Scoot program at Vivocity, Giant supermarket, level one, is at 10am to 9.30pm from Monday to Sunday.
