Road Bikes

Road bikes are a category of bicycles which are designed specially for road or paved terrain. The most distinct feature of a road bike will be a drop bar. This type of handlebar allows for a number of riding positions depending on the terrain and riding style.

The frame is the main component of a road bike. Typically, the frame can be made of steel, aluminum, carbon or titanium. On the other hand, more expensive road bikes generally use a carbon fork as compared to aluminum or steel.
