Mobot was interviewed by Channel News Asia regarding the topic of the users of personal mobility aids (PMA) in light of the recommendations proposed by the Active Mobility Advisory Panel (AMAP) on PMA regulations.
"In the move to reduce misuse of personal mobility aids, sellers and physical therapists say some people who use such aids should consider other options that are more suitable. Personal mobility aids, including mobility scooters, should instead be reserved for those who need them the most. Regulations kicking in next year will restrict such aids only to those certified with relevant medical needs. CNA's Kate Low reports."
