Yes. The FIIDO non UL2272 certified version complies with the physical criteria (Max weight: 20kg, Max speed: 25km/h, Max width: 70cm) stipulated in the Active Mobility Act. As such, if you have registered with LTA before 1 July 2019, you can legally use it until 31 Dec 2020.
As of 11 Jun 2019, FIIDO 10AH is certified to UL2272. Only those FIIDO 10AH manufactured after the UL2272 certification will be affixed with the certification label.
As of 31 Jul 2019, FIIDO has not / has no intention to certify their 14AH version to UL2272.
No. Any changes to the original certified FIIDO will have the possibility that it may void the UL2272 certification.
Only the accredited testing bodies can advise if that modification can be accepted without further or re-testing.
