MOBOT MANTIS UL2272 High Performance Electric Scooter
MANTIS is a UL2272 certified, LTA compliant e-scooter. This high performance e-scooter is designed for demanding riders who wants it all. It has strong acceleration, excellent suspension, reasonable weight and is foldable. In other words, it is suitable for both daily commuting and off trail fun weekend rides.
MANTIS is equipped with 48V 500W geared motor with dual disc brakes and swing arm suspensions.
Design
MANTIS UL2272 certified e-scooter adopts wide mountain bike style handlebar which provides a very comfortable control of the e-scooter. The deck is designed to be larger and longer to accommodate the rider’s position at different rider conditions. In addition, it has a good ground clearance of 160 mm. This allows the e-scooter to clear obstacles easily.
Power
The MANTIS UL2272 certified e-scooter is equipped with 48V 500W geared motor. The geared motor provides more torque than non geared motor. Therefore the MANTIS is able to conquer slopes much better than most e-scooters. An e-scooter with powerful motor is only complete with good brakes. The MANTIS front and rear uses cable-actuated ZOOM brake calipers with 140mm disc rotor.
Distance
This UL2272 certified high performance e-scooter can travel 30-35 km on a full charge with its 10AH li-ion battery.
Comfort
This e-scooter is mounted with front and rear swing arm suspensions. This type of suspensions allow the e-scooter to conquer any tough terrains in your path.
In addition, the MANTIS e-scooter is equipped with 10″ pneumatic tyres.
Safety
The MANTIS e-scooter is equipped with front and rear lights. In addition, bright lateral LED strips are added on both sides. Therefore you can be ensure you will be seen during your night fun rides.
Other than that, the rear foot rest provides stability during acceleration and rough terrains.

Important note:
From 1 April 2020, e-scooter will be inspected and registered with Land Transport Authority (LTA) before transferring the ownership to you. The $7 transfer fee is payable by the customer directly to LTA.
From 5 Nov 2019, e-scooters are not allowed to be used on pedestrian paths or footpaths.
As of 15 Nov 2019, the MANTIS is certified to UL2272.
