Mobility Scooter and Electric Wheelchair Rental Singapore

By renting a mobility aid from Mobot, you (the “Renter”) agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Rental Period: The rental period begins upon the collection of the mobility aid and ends upon its return to Mobot. Extensions of the rental period must be requested and approved in advance. Late returns may incur additional charges.

2. Rental Fees and Deposit: Rental fees must be paid in full before collection. A refundable security deposit is required and will be returned upon satisfactory inspection of the equipment at the end of the rental period. Mobot reserves the right to deduct repair or replacement costs from the deposit in case of damage or loss.

3. Condition of Equipment: The mobility aid will be provided in good working condition. The Renter is responsible for inspecting the equipment upon receipt and reporting any existing issues. The Renter agrees to use the mobility aid responsibly and in accordance with all applicable laws.

4. Liability for Damage or Loss: The Renter is responsible for the care of the equipment during the rental period. Any damage, loss, or theft of the equipment will be the sole responsibility of the Renter. The Renter agrees to pay for the repair or replacement of the equipment, including associated costs, in the event of damage or loss.

5. Use of Equipment: The Renter agrees to use the equipment only for its intended purpose and will not permit others to use the equipment without the express permission of Mobot. The Renter also agrees not to make any modifications or alterations to the equipment.

6. Restrictions on Travel: The rented mobility aid must remain within the borders of Singapore for the entire rental period. The Renter agrees not to transport or attempt to transport the equipment outside of Singapore by any means, including but not limited to air, sea, or land travel. Any violation of this clause will result in immediate termination of the rental agreement, and additional penalties may apply.

7. Tracking Tag: A discreet tracking tag has been installed on the mobility aid to prevent loss or theft. The Renter agrees not to tamper with, destroy, or remove the tracking tag. The tracker will only be activated in cases where the mobility aid is lost, stolen, or taken outside of Singapore. Any attempt to interfere with the tracking tag will result in immediate termination of the rental agreement, and additional penalties may apply.

8. Insurance and Liability: The Renter acknowledges that Mobot does not provide insurance coverage for the Renter’s use of the mobility aid. The Renter assumes full responsibility for any personal injury, property damage, or other liabilities arising from the use of the equipment. The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Mobot from any claims, damages, or losses incurred during the rental period.

9. Return of Equipment: The Renter agrees to return the mobility aid in the same condition as received, subject to normal wear and tear, by the agreed-upon return date and time. Failure to return the equipment on time may result in additional fees.

10. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the rental period begins will be eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the rental period will incur a cancellation fee.

11. Governing Law: This agreement is governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from this rental agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
