14 August 2024 – Since the launch of the ROYALE foldable bicycle series in 2020, MOBOT has created many firsts in the foldable bike industry. From introducing the first 9-speed tri-fold bike in Singapore to the first tri-fold bike with an integrated speedometer and the first 10-speed fully external geared tri-fold, the ROYALE series has become the most popular local brand of tri-fold bikes. Four years on, MOBOT has gone back to the drawing board, consolidating valuable feedback to provide a brand-new riding experience. Introducing the ROYALE Pro series, a brand new era of Royale bikes.

At the forefront of innovation, the ROYALE Pro tri-fold bike series captivates with four unique models at launch, the ROYALE Pro 9 (16″), ROYALE Pro 9 (20″), ROYALE Pro C7, and ROYALE Pro C15 tri-fold bicycles (folding bikes). From the tri-fold bike with the world’s most gears to 20” tyres with disc brakes, the most popular modifications into a stock off-the-shelf bike,  and precisely crafted CNC parts, the series offers a bike for every rider.

Across the entire series, we have incorporated larger retractable pedals and enhanced knobs and latches, ensuring effortless locking and unlocking of your bike. With an upgraded rear rack and seat clamp, plus single spindle folding hinges that are easy to tighten after wear and tear, the ROYALE Pro bikes (foldable bicycles) are designed for long-term durability. The folding hinges feature a single spindle, allowing for easy tightening after prolonged use, ensuring long-term durability and reliability.

The ROYALE Pro C7 and C15 foldable bike models are crafted with Chromoly steel frames and are precision-engineered. The C stands for CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machined parts, crafted with precision to fit the bicycle perfectly, contributing to a more compact fold and reducing the folded width of both models. CNC machining uses computer-controlled tools to produce high-precision components from metal, resulting in parts that offer exceptional accuracy, durability, aesthetic appeal, and lighter weight. These expertly crafted components ensure that the bike not only performs exceptionally well but also looks fantastic.

Both models feature seven customized CNC parts, such as the chain tensioner which puts adequate tension on the chain even when folded, ensuring minimal slack when the bike is folded, thus preventing chain-drop. The other CNC parts are the derailleur, chainring, crank arms, brake callipers, folding latches, and tyre rims. These components ensure a smoother ride, enhanced performance, and a visually appealing design. They are lighter, stiffer, and more precise than traditional parts. Additionally, the chrome brake design adds a unique aesthetic touch.

The ROYALE Pro C7 and C15 (tri-fold bicycles) also feature Hollowtech cranks, providing smoother pedal strokes and reducing the overall weight of the bike. These cranksets are lightweight while maintaining the rigidity that the ROYALE series is known for.

Many riders find themselves dissatisfied with conventional bikes equipped with standard components, leading them to invest thousands of dollars in modifications and upgrades. The ROYALE Pro C7 (folding bike) has precisely engineered parts to negate that investment, with the C representing CNC (Computer Numerical Control) parts. One important modification that is included in the C7 is the inclusion of S-Ride shifters, a popular after-market modification among tri-fold enthusiasts. Specifically, the C7 comes with the SL-M420 Shifter.

The ROYALE Pro C7 tri-fold bike also has Straight Pull wheel hubs which are lightweight and strong, ensuring better performance and durability over time while elevating the style of the wheelsets.

The ROYALE Pro C15 (foldable bike) brings you the highest-geared stock tri-fold bike in the world at 15 gears. It has a 3-speed Sturmey Archer internal hub, supplemented with 5 external gears from 11-25T. The C15 also comes with S-Ride shifters, specifically SL-M400 Shifters. With a 50T chainring and an 11-28T freewheel, it is perfect for rides around the city and beyond.

This seatpost stopper ensures your bike remains securely folded, even without lowering your seatpost fully.
