Our Story
In 2014, Mobot’s founder, Ifrey Lai, first saw an electric scooter zooming past him on the streets. It was at the very beginning of an industry that would change the lives of so many. He soon founded Mobot with its focus on electric scooters. Mobot grew quickly and our products could be found in major retailers around Singapore.
In 2019, a major crisis hit: the banning of e-scooter. Along with the rest of the nation, Mobot felt the strong effects of the ban. Instead of giving up, we adapted and started focusing on bringing in high-end quality bicycles. Yet, by the end of the year, another crisis hit the world: Covid-19.
Our retail outlets were forced to shut down during lockdown. But we persevered and continued adapting despite the difficult situation. Today, Mobot has 5 outlets across Singapore and we continue to expand. In spite of crisis and difficulties, Mobot chooses to trudge through the difficult times.
